Clean the surface. Place the mount and pump the plunger repeatedly until the safety Line is completely hidden inside the cylinder.
While shooting, glance at the pump. If the safety Line reappears, it means vacuum is dropping. Re-pump immediately to restore 100% hold.
Finished? Press the release tabs on the pad edge. The vacuum breaks instantly ( < 1 sec), leaving no marks on the surface.
